AS Monaco Kids Tour Engages Over 10,000 Young Fans
The initiative fosters community ties and connects youth with professional players across multiple regions.
The AS Monaco Kids Tour, a significant community initiative of the AS Monaco football club, has successfully reached more than 10,000 children across 56 municipalities, spanning the Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, and neighboring Italian towns, since its inception three years ago.
This third edition of the touring caravan has been particularly impactful, featuring 22 events that welcomed nearly 3,500 children free of charge.
The tour's goals align with the territorial development strategy set by club president Dmitry Rybolovlev, strengthening the relationship between the football club and its regional community.
One of the tour's key elements is the direct involvement of professional players.
Notable athletes such as Denis Zakaria, Jordan Teze, and Krépin Diatta have participated in various regional events, providing young fans with unique experiences and interactions.
The tour also includes a mascot named Bouba, who adds to the festive atmosphere enjoyed by children and their families.
Additionally, almost 1,000 young participants had the chance to explore the Stade Louis-II during official matches.
The tour's geographical adaptability distinguishes it from similar initiatives, as it has successfully engaged children from ski resorts such as Auron and Val d'Allos to coastal municipalities and remote villages in the hinterland.
The expansion into Italy, particularly through the ÜNSEME program, demonstrates a modern cross-border vision.
Collaborative efforts with local municipalities and leisure centers have further solidified the project’s territorial foundation.
In light of its success, AS Monaco has announced plans to continue the initiative in the upcoming season.
