Amidst ongoing hostilities, Trump criticizes Russian bombardments during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Former President
Donald Trump voiced his discontent regarding the escalating bombings in Ukraine, stating, "the Russians are bombing like mad right now." His remarks came during a press conference at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Trump has previously promised to resolve the conflict between Ukraine and Russia swiftly, within a 24-hour timeframe, a goal that remains unfulfilled.
Under pressure from the United States, Ukraine agreed in mid-March to a ceasefire without preconditions for a duration of 30 days.
However, Russia initially rejected this proposal but later accepted a more limited ceasefire in the Black Sea and regarding strikes on energy infrastructure, which raises uncertainty about its effective implementation.
Expressing frustration over the slow pace of negotiations, Trump described himself as "very angry, furious" at Russian President Vladimir Putin, particularly after Putin suggested the idea of a transitional administration in Ukraine that would entail the ousting of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Recently, Ukraine has reported a surge in Russian attacks.
On Friday, a missile strike hit a residential area in Kryvyï Rig, resulting in 20 fatalities, including nine children, according to Ukrainian authorities.
