European Forum on Criminal Asset Management Convenes for Best Practices Exchange
Experts and delegates from various nations gather to discuss effective management of seized criminal assets.
On April 1 and 2, 2025, the Service for the Management of Seized or Confiscated Assets (SGA) organized a forum focused on European criminal asset management, attended by 32 participants, including 21 from 10 foreign delegations.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Samuel Vuelta Simon, Secretary of State for Justice and Director of Judicial Services, who opened discussions aimed at sharing best practices regarding the management of seized assets, including bank accounts, cryptocurrencies, and high-value real estate.
The forum provided a platform for participants to engage in bilateral meetings, facilitating the exchange of information on ongoing cases.
Additionally, Mr. Morgan Blaise, an art expert, presented a comprehensive overview of the global art market in 2025, highlighting current trends and relevant economic impacts.
This gathering underscores the collaborative efforts among European nations to enhance efficiency and transparency in the management of assets linked to criminal activity.
