Monaco's Ambassador to Spain Visits Palma de Mallorca
S.E. Mme Catherine Fautrier Rousseau explores collaborative opportunities with Balearic government officials.
On May 2, 2025, S.E. Mme Catherine Fautrier Rousseau, the Ambassador of Monaco to Spain, visited Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.
The visit, organized by Laura Calvo Borrego, the Consul of Monaco overseeing the Balearic Islands, included a meeting with Margalida Prohens Rigo, the President of the Balearic Government.
The discussions focused on potential collaborations between Mallorca and Monaco in various sectors including environmental protection, tourism, port activities, and yachting.
Following this meeting, the Ambassador engaged in a discussion with Jaime Martinez Llabrés, the Mayor of Palma, regarding the possibility of hosting an exhibition in 2026 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Spain.
Prior to these meetings, the Ambassador was welcomed at the Monaco Consulate in Palma, where she spoke with Ms. Calvo and her team.
