The 118th edition of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters is set to take place from April 5 to 13, 2025, at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, attracting significant interest from tennis fans worldwide.
On April 4, the tournament director, David Massey, announced an impressive lineup during a press lunch held at Hôtel de Poulpry in Paris, revealing that nine of the top ten players in the ATP rankings will participate.
The only notable absence will be world number one Jannik Sinner, who is currently under suspension until May 2025. The confirmed participants include:
- Alexander Zverev (No. 2), finalist of the 2025 Australian Open
- Carlos Alcaraz (No. 3)
- Taylor Fritz (No. 4)
- Casper Ruud (No. 5)
- Daniil Medvedev (No. 6)
- Andrey Rublev (No. 7)
- Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 9), a three-time champion at the event

Additionally, several prominent French players are also set to compete, including Ugo Humbert (No. 19), Arthur Fils (No. 21), Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (No. 30), Gaël Monfils (No. 42), and Alexandre Muller (No. 44).
The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters is a prestigious event, much like the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show, and is expected to draw large crowds.
Last year, over 148,000 spectators attended the matches, while the event gained considerable attention online, amassing 240 million views across social media platforms.
Eurosport will broadcast all matches, while France Télévisions will air one match per day on its streaming platform, with the final being shown on France 4. Additionally, Sky Italia, Sky UK, and Sky Germany will provide international coverage.
In the weekend leading up to the tournament, special events for younger fans are also scheduled.
On April 5, at Mareterra, a mini-tennis exhibition will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a dedicated day for children on April 6, featuring various surprises, including the participation of two top players competing in the tournament.
