20th Edition of Les BaroQuiales Festival to Celebrate Baroque Arts

The festival will run from July 4 to July 12, 2025, featuring international artists and a theme of 'Ballades en balade.'
The 20th edition of the Les BaroQuiales festival is set to take place from July 4 to July 12, 2025, in various locations, including Breil-sur-Roya, La Turbie, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and Sospel in the Alpes-Maritimes region.

This festival offers a deep immersion into the baroque art scene with a diverse program that includes music, theatre, dance, guided visits, and heritage events.

This year's theme is 'Ballades en balade.' Concerts will be held in iconic venues, such as the Cathedral of Sospel, known for its excellent acoustics.

Under the artistic direction of Jean-Sébastien Beauvais, the festival will showcase renowned international artists and ensembles.

Notable participants include the Bulgarian ensemble Dai Monti Verdi, violinist Patrick Oliva, and soprano Ellen Giacone.

The Nice-based company La Semeuse and the ensemble La Chambre will inaugurate the festival with an original creation paying tribute to two significant figures of English baroque: William Shakespeare (1564-1616) and Henry Purcell (1659-1695), blending music and theatre.

Tickets for each concert are priced at 18 euros.
