64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival Opens with Global Talent and Premieres
Prince Albert II inaugurates event honoring Robin Wright and Pierre Arditi; CBS's 'Watson' premieres
The 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival commenced on June 13, 2025, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, under the Honorary Presidency of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II.
The festival, running until June 17, brings together international television professionals, including actors, producers, and executives, to celebrate achievements in the industry and present new content.
The opening ceremony featured the presentation of the Crystal Nymph Award to French actor Pierre Arditi, recognizing his extensive career in television.
The event also included the French premiere of CBS Studios' series 'Watson,' attended by lead actor Morris Chestnut and executive producer Craig Sweeny.
Throughout the festival, attendees can participate in various activities, including world premieres, behind-the-scenes panels, and autograph sessions.
Notable events include a reunion of the 'Teen Wolf' cast on June 14 and the presentation of the Crystal Nymph Award to American actress Robin Wright during the closing ceremony on June 17.
The festival also hosts the Golden Nymph Awards, which honor excellence in international television across categories such as fiction, news, and documentaries.
Special awards, including the Prince Rainier III Special Prize for environmental documentaries, are also presented.
