Solliès-Pont Classical Music Festival Returns with Enriched Program

The Nocturnes de Solliès-Pont festival offers a diverse range of classical and jazz performances from July 1-6.
The Nocturnes de Solliès-Pont music festival is set to take place at the Château of Solliès-Pont from July 1 to July 6, 2025. Following the success of its inaugural edition last year, this festival returns with a more ambitious program under the artistic direction of Olga Jegunova, in partnership with the Opéra de Toulon and the Scène nationale Châteauvallon-Liberté.

The event caters to a broad audience, including young children, and features a blend of both large and small evening concerts.

The festival's large evening performances will commence on July 1 at 9 PM, featuring musicians from the Opéra de Toulon, known as Squartet.

The opening night will showcase works by renowned composers such as Bach, Piazzolla, Schubert, Mozart, and Bizet.

A piano-focused concert will take place on July 4 at 9 PM, presenting a program that includes compositions by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Viardot, Weill, Liszt, Bizet, Dvořák, and Gounod, performed by musician François Weigel.

The following evening, July 5 at 9 PM, will feature a theatrical concert titled 'A Love Story in a Maritime Landscape,' with performances from Charles Berling and Bérengère Warluzel, accompanied by pianist Olga Jegunova.

Closing the festival on July 6 at 9 PM, the Philippe Duchemin Trio will perform a jazz set featuring American vocalist Leslie Lewis.

In addition to the main evening concerts, the festival also includes activities aimed at younger audiences.

These smaller events commence on July 2, starting at 5:15 PM with a children's concert of 'Peter and the Wolf,' narrated by Bérengère Warluzel, with piano accompaniment by Olga Jegunova.

On the same day at 6:15 PM, a choral workshop titled 'Come Sing with the Family!' will be conducted by the choir 'Sur tous les tons,' led by Luciana Jatuff, with pianist Olga Jegunova.

On July 3 at 6 PM, the festival will feature a concert by students from the Conservatoire TPM, showcasing budding talents.

Following this, on July 5 at 10:30 AM, the show 'Tick Tock' will be presented by the Abracadabra Musiques company, adding to the children's programming.
