Ansu Fati’s planned loan move from Barcelona to AS Monaco has been delayed due to unresolved negotiations over salary distribution, with Monaco agreeing to cover about 40 percent of his wages while Barcelona remains responsible for the remainder.

The loan includes an €11 million purchase option, but timing is critical to allow Fati to meet residency requirements under Monaco’s tax system.

The deal must be finalized quickly or risk collapse amid financial constraints on both sides.
