Government of Monaco Introduces Sweeping Property Pre-Emption Rights to Protect Historic Real Estate on The Rock

The Monégasque government has tabled a comprehensive legislative bill granting the State pre-emption rights over real estate transactions in Monaco-Ville, seeking to strictly control changes of use and preserve the architectural heritage of the historic district surrounding the Prince’s Palace.
