Macao Delegation Visits Monaco for Clean Fusion Forum

The visit highlights continued collaboration between Monaco and Macao in innovative technologies and ecological transition.
On April 28, 2025, a delegation from the Macao Special Administrative Region of China visited the Principality of Monaco to take part in the Monaco Clean Fusion Forum, hosted at the Yacht Club of Monaco under the auspices of the Prince Albert II Foundation.

This visit follows an inaugural trip made by the Macao delegation in March 2025.

During the forum, H.E. Mrs. Marie-Pascale Boisson, Monaco's Ambassador to China, facilitated a bilateral meeting between the Chinese delegation and various representatives from Monagasque entities engaged in economic, technological, and scientific sectors.

The discussions centered around their respective activities, expertise, and mutual commitments, emphasizing Monaco's capabilities in innovative solutions and emerging technologies, particularly those that can advance ecological transition across multiple high-tech sectors, including energy manufacturing, storage, and biomedical research concerning health and environmental issues.

Attendees of this bilateral meeting included Mr. Guillaume Rose, Executive Director of the Monaco Economic Board; Ms. Sandrine Sauval, Director of MonacoTech; Ms. Delphine Frappier, Secretary General of the Monaco Scientific Centre; Mr. Eric Villalonga, President of the Monaco Chamber of Renewable Energies and Ecology; and Mr. Mirco Albisetti, President of Aton Green Monaco.

The Macao Government delegation was led by Mr. Tai Kin Ip, Secretary for Economy and Finance, and included Dr. Che Weng Keon, President of the Scientific and Technological Development Fund Committee, along with Mr. Iong Nin Fai, head of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of Macao.
