The event celebrates significant contributions from finance executives in a challenging economic landscape.
The 14th edition of the Trophée Finance & Gestion, organized by the DFCG (Association of Financial Directors and Management Controllers), took place on May 23, 2025, at the Château de Crémat in Nice, France.
The event gathered approximately 250 finance and management leaders to honor achievements in the field.
Two prominent figures were awarded for their distinguished contributions: Antonio Rei, Vice President of Finance for Europe and Africa at Del Monte, received the 2025 Administrative and Financial Director Award, while Stéphanie Lopez, Chief Financial Officer of Interstoves, was recognized for her resilience and effective leadership.
Antonio Rei's recognition stems from his efforts to transform the financial department at Del Monte from a support function into a crucial partner in commercial strategy.
He joined Del Monte on the first day of the
COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, where he conducted a comprehensive assessment of the organization, previously structured in silos.
Rei emphasized that 'anticipation, optimization, and mitigation of potential future impacts have allowed stakeholders to sleep better at night,' highlighting his proactive approach to financial management during turbulent times.
Stéphanie Lopez was awarded for her ability to navigate the complexities of managing finances within a company that produces pellet and wood stoves.
She undertook the challenge of establishing a network of 80 licensed stores across France amid an unstable economic context.
Lopez, a self-taught financial leader, successfully maintained budgetary balance while limiting social impacts during a corporate reorganization and promoting skill transfers between departments.
Additionally, awards were presented to Marcel Ragni, who chaired the jury, and Benjamin Barriol, President of DFCG Côte d’Azur.
The event underscores the essential role of financial leadership in steering organizations through challenging economic landscapes.
