Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra to Host Young Audience Concert Featuring Russian Tales

On May 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra will present a concert for young audiences at the Rainier III Auditorium in Monaco.
Conducted by Philippe Béran, the orchestra will perform two notable Russian compositions: _Peter and the Wolf, Op. 67_ by Serge Prokofiev and _The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda, Suite, Op. 36a_ by Dmitri Shostakovich.
The Shostakovich work, composed in 1933, will be paired with an animated short film based on a tale by Alexander Pushkin.
The event will feature narration by actor Joan Mompart, while artist Marina Sosnina will create live illustrations of the story using sand drawings.
This concert is recommended for children aged 5 and above.
