Prince Albert II Launches Eddie Jordan Foundation in Monaco

Prince Albert II Launches Eddie Jordan Foundation in Monaco

The newly established foundation aims to support young talents in sports, music, sailing, and business.
On May 22, Prince Albert II inaugurated the Eddie Jordan Foundation at the Yacht Club de Monaco, honoring the legacy of Eddie Jordan, the former Formula 1 team principal who passed away in March at the age of 76. The ceremony was attended by family members, including his children Kyle and Zoe Jordan, as well as long-time friends of Jordan.

The foundation is established as a philanthropic initiative to nurture young talent in four areas important to Jordan: sports, music, sailing, and entrepreneurship.

Its activities extend across Monaco, London, Dublin, and Cape Town.

The foundation aims to support promising individuals through various programs, including scholarships, mentorship, personalized support, an alumni network, and immersive opportunities.

Targeting high-potential young individuals—whether athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, or innovators—the foundation welcomes applications from candidates who can apply directly, be recommended, or be identified through a talent detection network established by the organization.

During the launch, Prince Albert II spoke about the close connection between Eddie Jordan and the Principality, where Jordan frequently resided.

He praised the initiative led by Jordan's loved ones, highlighting the unifying spirit of a man who left an indelible mark on the motorsport world.

The ceremony featured testimonials from Jordan's family and collaborators, reflecting on his career in racing and his dedication to engagement, knowledge sharing, and youth support.

A tribute film was screened at the conclusion of the event, showcasing significant moments from Jordan's career.
