Khaby Lame, a Senegalese-Italian influencer with 162.2 million followers on TikTok, exited the United States shortly after being briefly detained by U.S. immigration authorities due to a visa violation.
According to a statement from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Lame, aged 25, was taken into custody on June 6, 2025, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, for overstaying his visa following his entry on April 30.
ICE confirmed that Lame was granted a 'voluntary departure' and subsequently left the country.
As of Saturday afternoon, he had not publicly commented on the incident.
