Zia Restaurant Returns to Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, Offering Italian-Inspired Breakfast
The temporary dining experience features Italian breakfast specialties and will be open to external guests until October 2025.
The Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo has announced the return of its Zia restaurant, an ephemeral culinary experience that will offer Italian-inspired breakfast through to dinner.
The initiative aims to embrace the 'Dolce Vita' ethos, with the restaurant set to operate in the hotel's Odyssey space, designed by the renowned fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
This year, executive chef Christophe Cussac has entrusted chefs Manon Santini and Rocco Seminara to craft a diverse menu that highlights Italian breakfast traditions.
The Zia experience will unfold in three phases: the breakfast, known as _colazione_, will precede lunch, and the _aperitivo_ will lead into dinner, which is scheduled to commence on May 28.
The Odyssey setting offers a picturesque environment that includes a pool and aromatic gardens, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The morning menu showcases a contemporary take on traditional Italian breakfast fare, featuring house-made granola with spiced apples and red fruits, eggs Benedict served with a basil pesto waffle and tarragon hollandaise sauce, as well as a crispy focaccia styled as an avocado toast, complemented by salad and pomegranate pearls.
For those with a sweet tooth, the menu also includes pancakes drizzled with warm flower honey and a decadent French toast infused with pistachio paste and vanilla whipped cream.
Notably, the Zia restaurant has expanded its accessibility; it is now open to external visitors, allowing non-hotel guests to partake in this culinary journey inspired by Italian cuisine.
This expanded offering will be available until October 1, 2025.
