Gildo Pastor and Mathieu Kassovitz Launch Venturi Production
A new production company aims to integrate technology and storytelling in cinema.
Monaco's entrepreneur Gildo Pastor has partnered with French filmmaker Mathieu Kassovitz to establish Venturi Production, a new venture set to innovate the film industry.
This collaboration stems from a friendship that began in the early 2000s, highlighted by Kassovitz's inclusion of Venturi's electric vehicles in his science fiction film 'Babylon A.D.'.
Over two decades, their vision has matured into an ambitious project.
Venturi Production is positioning itself at the forefront of a technological revolution that seeks to redefine the cinema landscape.
The company plans to develop films, series, video games, and documentaries rooted in scientific and technological themes, both in terms of content and production methods.
Gildo Pastor brings to the table the technological expertise of the Venturi Group, a pioneer in high-performance electric vehicles since 2000. Venturi has achieved 28 world speed records and has participated in the Formula E championship.
In 2021, the company expanded into the space sector with the creation of Venturi Space, which is currently preparing for its first lunar missions.
The FLIP rover is scheduled for landing in early 2026, followed by FLEX in 2027, which has been pre-selected by NASA for humanity's return to the Moon in 2030.
Kassovitz expressed the need for a partnership that blends artistic risk with technological advancement.
He stated, 'To truly push boundaries, I needed to partner with a visionary rooted more in the real industry than in traditional cinema.' Pastor echoed this sentiment, emphasizing a shared curiosity and a forward-looking perspective on future technologies.
Their joint proclamation reflects this innovative spirit: 'The only limits are those we impose on ourselves.
Let’s go explore them.' This combination of artistic and technological exploration anticipates a new creative horizon, where technology serves as an ally to the arts rather than a constraint.

Located within the historic Casino de Monte-Carlo, this ultra-exclusive private club is designed for connoisseurs of fine cigars and rare spirits.
It will feature a collection of approximately 35,000 cigar references from renowned origins such as Cuba, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.

The venue will include a lounge, a smoking area with a library, a terrace, and a walk-in humidor designed by DeArt, a global leader in the sector.
The Cigar Club reflects the overarching strategy of the Société des Bains de Mer to elevate its offerings under the leadership of General Director Albert Manzone.
