56th International Bouquet Competition Set to Transform Monaco

The prestigious floral event will welcome artists from around the globe, featuring a new initiative to enhance floral displays throughout the Principality.
The 56th International Bouquet Competition will take place at the Yacht Club of Monaco on May 10 and 11, 2025. Under the high patronage of Prince Albert II and the presidency of Princess Caroline of Hanover, this annual event continues a legacy established in 1968 by Princess Grace of Monaco.

This year's competition theme, "Fleurs en mouvement", encourages participants to create floral designs that capture the dynamism of natural blooms.

Participants, both amateur and professional, will have the opportunity to express their creativity across seven categories.

These include: "Feux d’artifice multicolores", "Le bal de la rose", "Tourbillons pastel", "Volutes en camaïeu", "Coup de vent dans le jardin", "Ronde de fleurs et feuilles", and a special category titled "Farandole de fleurs, fruits et légumes", specifically aimed at youth aged 6 to 14.

In a noteworthy addition for this edition, the competition will introduce "Monaco en Fleurs", a new initiative that will adorn the shop windows of merchants in the Principality from May 5 to 11, 2025. This extension of the floral celebration aims to weave the vibrant spirit of the competition throughout the entire city-state.

Public admission to the event is free, allowing attendees to view the floral compositions on Saturday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The program will also feature free conferences and a floral demonstration on Sunday, enhancing the overall experience of the participants and the public alike.

Registration for the competition is open until April 30, 2025. Interested individuals can find more information and register via the official website.
