Monaco Gears Up for the 8th Annual Splash Party at Stade Nautique Rainier III

The Splash Party promises an aquatic celebration for local youth as part of Monaco's community engagement.
In just three days, on June 18, 2025, the Stade Nautique Rainier III will host the 8th edition of the Splash Party, a popular aquatic celebration in Monaco.

The event, which has become a hallmark of summer festivities in the Principality, was conceived by local schoolchildren as part of a previous Junior Communal Project.

The Splash Party reflects Monaco's spirit of community involvement and marks the transition from the academic year to the summer holiday season.

Scheduled to take place from 2 PM to 6 PM, the event will transform the Stade Nautique into a vibrant water amusement park.

Young people aged 12 to 17 will have access to activities including a five-meter diving board, giant inflatable structures featuring a spectacular slide, and music provided by a DJ. The entry fee includes all non-alcoholic refreshments, ensuring a hassle-free experience for participants.

Tickets are available at a preferential price of €20 for students and Monaco residents, while accompanying non-residents can purchase tickets for €25. The event typically sells out, and registration can be done only in cash or by bank check.

Details for the event include:
- Date: Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Location: Stade Nautique Rainier III, Port de Monaco
- Contact Information: (+377) 93 15 06 09 – www.mairie.mc

In a related cultural backdrop, Formula 2 driver Oliver Goethe has shared his favorite spots in Monaco for visitors looking for an authentic experience.

Goethe mentions starting the day with breakfast at local favorite Mada One, known for its pastries and fresh juices.

Following breakfast, he recommends a visit to Cap d’Ail, a quieter commune bordering Monaco, praised for its scenic coastal paths.

For lunch, he suggests the Fontvieille area, highlighting the Beef Bar and La Salière as his top dining choices.

The iconic Larvotto beach serves as a popular spot in the afternoon, which has recently introduced new venues, such as Box 98, catering to visitors seeking leisure activities.

As the evening approaches, Goethe offers recommendations for dinner at Buddha-Bar, along with more casual options such as Grubers and Arrow Burger.

In addition to dining, he encourages exploration around the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo, noted for its architectural beauty and vibrant atmosphere.

Goethe, an avid sports enthusiast, also notes his engagement with padel and frequently travels to courts in nearby La Turbie and Èze.

His reflections reveal a dynamic sporting culture within the Principality, contributing to the appeal for many figures in the racing community to reside in Monaco.
