56th International Bouquet Competition Announced in Monaco

The competition will feature the theme 'Flowers in Motion' and include various categories for participants of all ages.
The Garden Club of Monaco has announced the 56th edition of the International Bouquet Competition, set to take place on May 10 and 11, 2025, at the Yacht Club of Monaco.

This event is held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.

The overarching theme for this year's competition is 'Flowers in Motion'.

Participants, including both amateurs and professionals, will compete in several open categories.

Notably, there is a special category designated for children aged 6 to 14. The categories include:

- Multicolored Fireworks: large scale
- The Rose Ball: table decoration
- Pastel Whirlwinds: displayed on a pedestal
- Gradated Volutes: niche design
- Wind Gusts in the Garden: niche design
- Circle of Flowers and Leaves: wall decoration
- Parade of Flowers, Fruits, and Vegetables: youth category

Registration for the competition is open until April 30, 2025. Detailed rules and participation guidelines are available on the Garden Club of Monaco's official website.

A 'Special Jury', led by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, will award Special Prizes.

Additionally, an 'Official Jury', composed of judges, professors, international authors, and floral art specialists, will present Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals, the Grand Prix General, and the Princess Grace of Monaco Prize.

On May 11, from 11 AM to 1 PM, the Garden Club of Monaco will host free public conferences at the Yacht Club, which will be followed by a floral demonstration from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. Public access will allow viewers to admire the floral compositions on May 10 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM and on May 11 from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.

In addition, the 56th edition will introduce a new competition, 'Monaco in Flowers', aimed at beautifying the storefronts of local businesses from May 5 to May 11.
