The Government of Monaco Reinforces Economic Growth through a Renewed Digital Innovation Fund
The Principality of Monaco has revitalized its 'Le Fonds Bleu' initiative, a strategic effort initially launched at the end of 2020 to assist Monegasque businesses in navigating digital transformation post-
COVID-19. Since its inception, the fund has facilitated the digital transition of over 700 local enterprises, financing projects worth a total of €52 million, including €24.3 million in direct financial aid.
Local Digital Services Enterprises have played a significant role, contributing to over 90% of the transformation projects supported by the initiative.
Additionally, the fund has enabled more than 3,500 professionals to undergo specialized digital training.
The initial success has fostered a robust digital ecosystem, prompting Monaco’s government to commence a second phase of the initiative.
The renewed focus of 'Le Fonds Bleu' operates on two main strategic axes aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing competitiveness.
The first axis is dedicated to strengthening the digital transformation of businesses.
Having laid the groundwork for digitalization, the new phase seeks to deepen and diversify digital usage among Monegasque enterprises.
By adopting advanced technological solutions, Monaco endeavors to enhance the competitiveness and growth potential of its economic actors in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
The second strategic axis involves the launch of the 'MonacoSanté Sécurité' plan, developed in conjunction with the Department of Social Affairs and Health.
This initiative addresses the critical need for data security in the healthcare sector, focusing on the protection of sensitive information while promoting innovation.
The plan aims to fortify trust among healthcare sector stakeholders and align with stringent data protection standards across the industry.
